Save up and get a 6800GT like you wanted to from the start. Also how much are the gift cards for... if thats making the bulk of your cost then save some cash till you can pay the difference. If you had your heart set on GT getting anything less and you will be dissapointed. At least thats how I am.

whoa, the X800pro for $330 looks pretty good. I know it's lacking the extra pipes but still, that deal is tempting. If not i would just go with the 6800oc. Very nice card for the price.

Indeed, Save the extra $100 and get what you really want. The cards you mentioned are all good cards but if you are going to be spending 300 why not save and get a card thats in a different class??? The 6800GT may drop to 350 by december, you never know.

Just wait, the 6800GT may go on sale. I have seen several places drop them to $330, maybe outpost will follow suit.

The 6800NU and X800Pro are both good deals at those prices, and more than good enough cards for the next year.

They are both 12 pipline cards but the odds of you being able to unlock the 6800 are very good....unlocked and OCed the 6800 will do GT speeds.
