Performance differences between two hard disk setups...

I'm planning on switching from a single IBM Deskstar 20GB 60GXP to two Seagate Cheetah 18LP SCSI drives. The two Cheetahs will be on a single Adaptec 2940UW (max throughput 40MB/sec) and I won't be striping them at all. The first drive will have Win XP and the second drive will have games. Swap file will be on the first drive. Should I expect any noticeable performance gain?

I'd say yes because the seek times are better, but Thorin is the man to ask
