Hi -

I have the Evga GeForce FX 5900 Ultra. Is it a good idea to flash the BIOS to the eVGA "Performance BIOS"? What benefits, if any, will I see?
 
Oh, and has any owner of this particular card ever gave thought to flashing its BIOS as the ATI users on the dark side do?

I appreciate your input.
 
Do a Google search and research what changes the "Performance BIOS" may add, it sounds like it probably overclocks the GPU to me.

Unless you want to risk damaging your card (higher voltage levels would probably be necessary) I would say no. If you are a hardcore overclocker and experienced then do what's comfortable for you.
