God i hate this...

I'm a perfectionist and love for everything i do to look and sound perfect (essays, webpages, etc...)...

The problem is that im also vehemently lazy and therefore end up doing things 10 times and never get anything satisfying IMO, and a final product.

Anyone else like this? Or should i just end it all and jump out a window? <--- humor :)

If i do something it's going to be great or in ways that will get a good grade or something. I've been studying for midterms the day before hand (i bought my book yesterday and taking the test tomorrow) in my psych. class I got an A on the midterm ;)

This is pretty much the same reason that I almost never clean my room. Once I start, I know that it will be at least a week long project by the time I get everything properly re-organized and categorized, only to have everything get messy again. So the lazyness overpowers the perfectionism and I just end up living in a very messy room.

i am this way too aphex....

actually, my perfectionism creates things like intense writer's block (cause I have to have everything thought out perfectly), and generally, I'm too lazy to do the things to ease the writer's block. Then, it all builds up to nothing, and I end up scrambling to put it togther so it is no where near perfect. Ah, the irony...

(my room is always clean around the time of important deadlines :) )
