This sounds kinda strange, but may be a perfect tip for my fellow geeks here... I found that a regular piece of paper makes for the perfect size for a cd/playstation game. And a legal size piece of paper is the perfect size and cut for Anything shaped like a DVD size case. No cutting, no measuring... As if it was planned this way...

I persoanlly use PIII badges for tape.... Add that xtra geek touch
 
after all these years of trying, i still pay my kid brother to wrap my gifts for me. it doesn't matter what size the paper is. every time i wrap something, it either looks half done, or it looks like it has cancer.
