In a previous thread where I asked about best Smart Placement strategy for PD.....the discussion morphed into auto-optimization.
I had always kept engage that (defrag/Smart Placement) automatically when the drive is 1% fragmented, and that is what the app did. Kept it at 99.01% perfect.
Corkyg shared, he does manual optimization EVERY DAY.....to reach 100%.
Other day, realized, NOT NECESSARY. Waste of lifeminutes. If someone just lowers the percentage to 0%...PD will do what it does to achieve and maintain the drive at 100%, invisibly, ALL BY ITSELF.
Nobody will ever have to do anything manually AGAIN. the drive will be optimized and without fragmentation ongoing. Far less stress on the drive, and with 1005 perfect result.
