Doesn't do anything for pain for me. Just makes me constipated.
You're just a loser imo (especially the people who think its awesome to drink and pop pills).
It's people that abuse pharmaceuticals (hell, even over the counter drugs) that make it so difficult for people who really need them difficult to obtain. Like driving 30mi to get a written prescription for medication. That's f'd up.
In my experience doctors love to throw pain killers at people. The last 2 times I went to a clinic (after hours) with a sore throat, they gave me lortabs and oxycodone. Both times I made another appointment with my doctor the next day and he would give me penicillin which would actually cure the problem, rather than just make me feel less pain.
It's too easy to get your hands on a lot of pain killers - even legally. If I ever need more pain pills, I just go to a walk in clinic and say I have a sore throat. It's just like potheads abusing the medical marijuana laws.
Yup, hence why the U.S. consumes 99% of the world's hydrocodone :\

That is a pretty poorly written article. The rest of the world doesn't really use hydrocodone because they usually just use less processed opiates (hydrocodone is a semi-synthetic opioid) like codeine. That's just a cheap scare story.
