Question PERC H330 RAID allows access to S.M.A.R.T.

In case anyone is interested in knowing, PERC H330 RAID controller allows the S.M.A.R.T. values to be accessed by CrystalDiskInfo. I was able to see the life remaining status of Kingston DC500R configured in RAID 1 to the controller. It also showed the status of both drives, instead of showing them as a single RAID device, which is great in my opinion.

Verified that it also works with H310 but not PERC8.

I wonder if this is only for the Dell-branded cards or is it availble in the vanilla LSI firmware too. Or the HP, Fujitsu, etc flavors.
