EDIT: I realized I'm incorrectly using Rapid Storage(which is the tool suite replacing Matrix Storage), instead I should have been talking about Smart Response, which might explain why my google-fu was failing.
Here's a forum post I found with some good information, I plan to try this out this week: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2172381
\EDIT
I'm in the process of setting up my new computer:
DZ68BC
Corsair Force 3 120G
Seagate Barracuda 3TB 7200RPM
I know that the 120G SSD is larger than the max 64GB for Rapid Storage, but what I was hoping to partition the drive with 64GB dedicated for RS and the remaining dedicated to the OS installation itself.
During Windows 7 setup I partitioned the drive as mentioned above, and installed windows on the remaining 47.7GB.
Now that I have windows installed and the Intel Rapid Storage Technology tools installed, I'm seeing that I'm currently limited to selecting entire drives to use with RS.
Anyone else try(and hopefully succeed with) this type of configuration?
