PEP66 V2 still good for peltiers?

I've had a 72W Peltier thats been laying around since forever that I'd like to finally use. However, when looking around for a good heatsink I noticed that the Alphas now use some kind of retainer clip instead of what they had before(I think it was screws) Anyways, can anyone give me some insight into how well it functions with this new retainer clip? Would you have to bend the clip to fit a peltier in there? Does it hold as tight? Is there any place where you can still get the one specifically for PIIIs ,i.e. with screws? Thanks for any help.
