could you please go into your bios and see what the lowest cpu voltage setting you have available to you is?

i am looking to possibly build a turion based desktop machine but the turion only uses 1.2V and most m/bs are higher than this. i have seen a review where a dfi nf3 m/b is used but i would prefer to use a different m/b, so dfi people i already have the answer from your perspective.

i have tried tech support at the m/b manfs but they aren't too helpful because they don't officially support this.

thanks in advance for your time.

could you please list m/b make, model and chipset.

thanks again

NF3250GB

It is the best 754 board in my opinion. I know all the DFI guys will be all over me, but I sold my DFI when I tried this out. I am running a mobile 3000 1.8 Gig at 2.52 which is 280 fsb. This will pull scores better than the 2.55 gig I got on the DFI.

It is a good solid board.

I don't see it for sale anywhere. I guess if that wasn't an option....how bout a mobile 3000 with my motherboard to run stupidly fast or real cool?

i guess i probably won't get the help from the tech support at the major manf because some of them make m/b for the p-m cpu, and charge ~$200 for it....
