Major pet peeve of mine, and its always a 5, the more numbers on the plate, the more pronounced these issues are.
1) They inevitably drive 5 to 10mph OVER the posted speed limit everywhere. When I get pass ed by these morons in the right lane doing no more than the posted speed limit, there's a problem.
2) cars with lots of numbers on the plate will usually be straddling the painted lines on the road, both the center median and the lane markers. If your vehicle doesn't have a letter in the plate, you either shouldn't be driving on that road or shouldn't be driving that vehicle. Usually when this happens, the idiots are actually going faster than than the posted speed limit, and will run me off the road as they fly down the street.
3) This happens with custom plates with lots of numbers, trying to spell stuff. They will go through the drive through lane are various fast food restaurants and the attendant attempting to take their order will be unable to hear them dispite trying to explain what the plate means. Despite the attendant asking them to either write it out with letters or on a white board, they'll just point at the pad of paper, like in pictionary., usually getting angry at the attendant. Eventually, they'll pull forward, but not until the line has wrapped around the building.
gosh, the nerve of these people
EDIT:
ive come to see your points; and wh"ile most of them are valid, blow me of(yeah, parse this too bitches)
I've also come to another realization:
Those of you that turn your headlights on at night:
Seriously. Is it that hard? Are you that dumb to not realize it's dark and foggy and other people can be blinded by the contrast that your lights create?
And plus, I've seen new Datsuns and even a new 2003 Prius drive towards me like this with lights on while it's raining or dark. Do these cars have have automatic headlights? I understand that my $13k base Cobalt has that hazard standard, yet a $25k Altima or Prius wouldn't. The defraction of the light on the raindrops on my windsheild can cause an accident
