People with giant phones

I recently changed to a new phone. It has a 4.3" screen. While I like the large screen I'm finding it awkward to hold. I usually hold it in a way so that my pinky props the phone up at the bottom. I'm finding that this causes stress on that tendon and makes my pinky feel weird when move my hand sometimes.

How do yous hold them smart phones?

I never went for smart phones, money was definitely the main factor but otherwise too, I never likes those big a$$ phones... anything like iPhone is too big for me. I like small and light, that I can put in my pocket without any problem. i was exited to hear about the small smart phones, finally I can move to smart phones too. Contract is expiring in October, hopefully by then there will some more small smart phones in the market...

I don't find it hard at all, I guess I have large hands...

I don't think it has to do with large hands though. If you prop with pinky it's perfect hight relative to your thumb but it screws up your tendons. If you hold it with all 4 digits to the side, it is too low relative to your thumb.

In before mod smackdown! 🙂

Hey, Its a fully legitimate and relevant image. It shows how you can "hold" a big cell phone. Unless you are a sexist and talking about only men holding theirs... or you are an evangelical who think cleavages are sin, you should be OK. I rest my case.

I have huge man hands so I prefer larger phones, smaller phones kinda disappear into my palm making it hard to operate them with one hand.
