I was just thinking about this, opening up a new box of Precision Xtra strips: 200 for $150 CAD. (Of course insurance kicks in after a while)

Now, how much would you pay for a reusable test strip? How many tests do you think would be reasonable, per strip? How bad would the testing companies NOT want this thing available, commercially? Is this stuff even available, anyway?

I have no idea about the economics of a single strip, let alone consider that of a strip that keeps on giving. How much do the R&D, materials, and production cost for these things? For those in the know about these, please comment.
