Well, I went to take them out one night, and it managed to suction itself to my cornea pretty good. I noticed my eye was all red after removing one of the contacts. Then I noticed some sort of flapping clear thing that looked like the contact lens.
Wait, the lens is in my hand.....
I ripped my cornea out in the perfect circumfrence of the contact lens. My eyeball was actually flat as a result. Had to go to the emergency room to have tests and crap done. Well, I thought I could see fine with that eye, but apparently not. They did an eye test, and everything from that eye was upside down. It was a little freaky.
Good news is that the cornea heals itself super fast. Mine grew over (again) in less than 24 hours. They say it is really painful, and gave me vicadin for it, but I never took them. The pain was more of an irritant in my opinion (kind of like bad allergies - or so I thought - doctor thought I was insane for not being in mass amounts of pain).
Anyway, thought I'd share my little - I can wear these disposable contacts for longer than the 2 weeks story. Oh yea, the eye drops they gave me were like a super dark orange dye, and left a really bad stain around my eye for about a week. And talk about nasty eye boogers......
