people who skip vacations are incredibly selfish

I know some people that are butting up against the PTO limit, and they have to take time off ever so often to avoid losing it. I don't try to use all of my vacation, but I do take time off... mostly between Christmas and New Year's. Other than that, I usually just take off on Black Friday (mostly for a long holiday) and my birthday.

Same with me. I take the week off for my birthday, and do a matching 1:1 cash out at the same time. A couple times I took off a week for a big game release, but the last time I did that was probably for GTA4. One of these days I'll plan a real vacation. I dunno...I associate vacations with unemployment.
