I heard there was a way to make it blow up; anybody know how to?

yup, by the total FU error that occurs 😉

but I think you have to knock it down somehow...not sure; IIRC it's been done
 
There is a bridge that you need to blow up/down to get the sword from the side structure. If you walk up there, there is a button looking thing that you shoot a few times and it will blow up creating a bridge to the sword.
 
like hal02? i didnt like how they used bump mapping and then the xbox couldnt hand it so it would come in too late... and they didnt make it a movie it was realtime.
