I am betting you got all outfitted for a one time lap. lolz.
Because I don't post threads about driving like a dick on the public road?

I paid cash for it. My cash. No loans, no borrowing at all. :p

I'm not the one making the racer claims, you are. The track session in the pic was actually a 1 on 1 instructor day event. I don't assume that I know everything and I never will. IMHO, that is the mark of a good driver; one who admits to himself that he can improve.

You have not exhibited any qualities I would want to see in any other driver.

Ahh your RENTAL for your little track day right? So you have mad tite skillz from one day out?

 Well I suppose I should be getting speeding tickets to up my driving prowess? If that's your benchmark for driving skill I'd recommend logging off and never posting in here again.

No it just sort of goes with I don't have to save a year to go rent some car the average person should be able to just buy.

I have been modifying and driving my OWN cars hard since I was 16, which was 21 years ago.

So what kind of cars do you / have you actually owned?

So....you are a 37 year old douche nozzle?

Look, I know 90% of males drive like an ass when they are younger, I was no exception.
But we all grow up.
Oh, I know the 240 has potential...but yours is an old tired POS with big brakes.
Big friggin deal.

Those organizations are ok for a beginner wanting to experience a few open track days.

Several years back I drove a turbocharged 240SX out on Streets of Willow - pretty quick but a serious handful and the car felt like it was about to fall apart.

I never did understand the appeal of modding a 10 year old car and making it your daily driver. Strip it out, pop in a cage, and turn it into your weekend track car sure, but why drive around a POS if you can easily afford a better DD (as you seem to claim).

The 240SX was a good platform 15 years ago but it's seriously antiquated. Yet you belitte an Elise which is a far more satisfying drive, even if not especially quick.

Oh and lol for referring to your tires as GY asymmetric - but I'm sure of course you're running the GY Eagle F1s right? No question those are decent street tires.

No, goodyear released a new tire called goodyear eagle asymmetrics, the old eagle f1's are being replaced by this tire, which is better according to reviews and a few people I spoke too.

I have GY Eagle F1s on my car. They are only 1 month old. I had the same tires on my last car as well (although on smaller rims)

Eagle F1 are a series of tires...GS-D3, Asymmetric, Supercar, All Season, etc...

Most are really referring to the GS-D3's when they talk about them. I had those originally. Excellent dry tire that gave pretty awesome wet performance.

The Asymmetrics bring more dry grip into the equation and still keep all the wet grip ability.

The Porsche and BMWCC guys have many that are well ranked...hardly beginners.

Most 240sx's you will see like may performance cars from the past are simply beaters that many kids have found salvaged or accident recoveries.

The S14 chassis is a pretty solid foundation.

There is no one that would classify this car as a POS, I was just involved in an accident a few months ago and my insurance company covered $7k in damage...they did not total it.

The Elise is not a great driving car. The interior is glovelike....it's a go kart for the street. It was never designed to be a daily driver.

Just the fact that you think Eagle F1's are a single type of tire shows you are just trolling here.

Some people are easily intimidated and go faster to try and get the person off their bumper.

I ignore them.

She wanted to cut in front about an 1/8 mile or so prior to our turn.

Actually about 1.2 on the skipad...no engine mods yet. My brakes however are more than oversized for the car and I am running decent rubber (GY asymmetric).

Brake checks work great on people that don't know WTF they are doing. Pull a 'brake check' on me and I am passing you at that instant.

Once I am in front most would be sorry they decided to play that game.

I'm completely confused. Why would you be tailgating someone if you can just get in the other lane to pass them? If you can't get into the other lane to pass them (i.e. cars/medians on both sides of you), then how are you going to pass them when they do a brake check?

By all means, please answer this question since you are obviously the only person on this forum who "know(s) WTF they are doing", so we can all bow down and grovel before you.

I would normally just pass, this thread turned into a typical personal attack.

I don't know what other's have a hard time understanding about how brake 'checks' are only good against those that aren't used to that kind of shit.

On the track a typical 'check' would be someone just stopping quick, giving you a chance to pass.

Anyways, I have sent many a 4x4 off into the median that thought they were so bad ass.

They hit me I win, they go off road I win.

Uh, no, you're a loser, and if you keep up this kind of behavior, someone will eventually slam into you. Hope you don't have any passengers when that happens. Or maybe you'll end up killing a mom and her 3 kids. That'd make you feel like a real man, wouldn't it?

To me the best part is all of the evidence from this thread that can be used against him when it happens.. Obvious reckless behavior and total disregard for safety.. I'm sure the jurors prosecuting him read all of this... Wonder what they'd think?

Alky - I'm serious, I'm not trying to be an asshole. I ride a motorcycle and have family on the road, and people like you eventually hurt themselves and others. Many of my "biker friends" have been killed by asshats like you crossing the double yellow or tailgating/brake checking. This will come back to bite you, and I hope I get to see it happen.

At the very least, take all this as a hint to slow down. Buy a miata track car and get it out of your system AWAY from public roads where I might be riding.

Where did I say I have crossed a double yellow....where did I say half the fucking shit you spew? Don't take your fears out on me.

Worry about yourself man and if you are too afraid to ride a motorcycle, sell it. The worst rider is the cowardly rider.

Just make sure your mom is on time for my conjugal.

So let me get this straight, it's my fault if a 4x4 tailgating ME hits ME because he wants to play cat and mouse with ME?

You guys have so much hate you can't even see how retarded you sound.
