i got a neutral last week because i shipped within 72 hours from receiving payment. the person got the item total 6 days from payment. less than 1 week. THAT's SLOW SHIPPING?!

That's a pretty immature thing to do. If he's complaining about the delivery time and you clearly spelled out what the shipment method would be, he's got no right to complain and you should respond as such in your feedback to him.

All your feedback does is make you look childish. I guess you accomplished your mission. Cheers.

they paid on a Sunday, i shipped Wednesday, they got it Saturday.

were they expecting me to use my non-existant instant teleportation machine/linux box?

It's this real life thing I've been participating in, tends to get distracting at times. If your life priority is receiving your used George Clooney movie, I might suggest finding some hobbies.

No, they were expecting you to have the package ready once the auction was over and to ship it to them when you received payment.

You can put notes on your negative feedback. Just explain what happened. That's all you can really do.

Shipping should be done promptly, but you can't expect the same service as an online retail store.

I agree that they should have contacted you first before leaving a neutral feedback.

I always ship within 24 business hours of receipt of payment.

I was never complaining that he didn't get it in the mail right away. I'm just trying to give a possible explaination on why he received the negative feedback.

Wow that was pretty messed up leaving a neutral for misspellings. Doesn't eBay let you respond to comments? You could have responded with, "Didn't let me fix things, this neutral was not deserved."

you're right, when i get a paypal notice of payment, i should prepare each individual package, drive over to a mailbox and place it inside.

6 days coast-to-coast is faster than any online store for the S&H they paid (wasnt even inflated)

i sorted thru the guys other feedback, it seems like the moron was dumb enuff to buy the same item 3 times for other sellers, but how come i was the only one left with a neutral. oh because i leave positive feedback first, upon receiving payment. meanwhile the other two sellers left positive feedback only after recieving it. maybe i should change my policy to withholding feedback until *the customer is satisfied with their own stupidity*

Not all of that was me, much of it was the media mail option. If he needed some Clooney stat he should have picked "expedited shipping."

The guy that paid me $100 for the little mermaid DVD got it two days later. :)
