Could you please give me some step by step instructions on how to setup the wireless bridge? I'm searching on google and I just can't find the step by step instructions I'm looking for. I am not even sure how to setup an IP of the router I want to use as the wireless bridge. I'm a complete noob to wireless networking until today as it's the first time I've ever had to user wireless.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

First you need to get the Wireless Security Key off your router, WEP or something like that I believe it's called. Then you have to go into the 360 settings and manually put that key into the settings for it to able to talk with the router. That was the first thing I had to do for mine to work if that is what your asking.

FIrst you'll need 3rd party firmware to use a wrt54g as a bridge

Does a Wireless AP work for wireless as well, or do I need an actual bridge?

Do you really have to buy the $100 device to connect it wirelessly or is there some 3rd party knockoff just as good???

linksys, dlink, and netgear all make wireless gaming adaptors that can be found for $50~60 and are not specific to 360
