I'm most likely gonna be stuck in Germany for a couple of months, and I was wondering if anyone knows what the living costs are? I'll be probably in/around Munich, so I guess the expenses there are going to be a little bit higher. My problem is, I'm not sure how much I will be spending there. I know Germany recently switched over to the Euro, and that'll complicate things. Does anyone know of an approximation of living costs per month in either DM or Euro? Thanks a bunch.

Put 'cost of living calculator' in google and knock your self out.

I've seen them for comparing two of all the major cities of the world.

If he knocked himself out, how would he see the results?

Yahoo Deutschland Miet-Immobilien Suchen

Just saw an apartment in München, 38 sq meters, for 576 Euros per month.

1 room place, 9 sq meters, for 310 Euros.

Another at 30 sq. meters for 310 Euros.

Search results for München:

Here

The above prices are "cold", meaning that you'll also be required to seperately arrange for utilities.
