me: at the command line, go to the directory that was created when you uncompressed the file.
me: ok, after you're in the directory, all you have to is run two commands (as root):
me: 1): ./configure
2) make install

him: i already ran command but it just open that folder to where there is list of file

me: yes, and when you're in that folder, type ./configure, then make install
me: and be root when you do it.

him: it just do nothing

me: what is "nothing"?

him: u mean i have to log on as root not user?

me: yes, you have to run it as root.

him: u mean i have to log on as root not [username] as user


ARGHH!!!!
