Yes that why I'm leaving PC. I want to win base on my skills and not by the tools that I have available. SCUF only appear in 2011, so before that everything was base on your skills. I have top of the line mechanical keyboard and gaming mouse and to me those that don't are put at an unfair advantage even though I am very good with games in general.
your reasoning is so twisted i don't even.

If it's a minor change for an extra $90 then why cry about it? If someone wants to pay for that extra change, then they deserve it. If you want the change then pay for it too you know? Not pointing you out specifically just saying. And I DEFINITELY want the change, so if I get the Xbox One with Halo 5, this is a must. I don't play many games, I played maybe 5 games on Xbox One really? So spending more on my controller is worth it to enjoy those handful of games I'm going to play.

You wouldn't enjoy them on the regular controller?

Honestly probably only 2% of the gaming market can benefit from this. Kind of like high dpi mice. You can tell it's different but to take advantage of it requires special skill. You can think you're good at some game but you won't get better immediately with the elite controller. It will take time to learn its advantages and such. Besides, someone will probably destroy you with a controller they have used for 2 years and is half way worn out by now. That's how it is.

And officially licensed, first-party accessories aren't fair? Do you want all high-end headsets with in-game, directional audio banned as well? What about low-input displays? What about high-end Internet connections? What about those who hardwire their consoles, rather than using the less-reliable WiFi solution?

I just don't get how a controller is unfair when it's deemed perfectly legal by the console manufacturer itself.

Yes ban me because I have 150Mbps Internet and use gigabit Ethernet only. Lol

I don't play many games online but the few I do or have, the good players are separated from the bad quickly regardless of what controller you use.

Someone already said it, but there are devices out there that allow you to use a mouse + keyboard to game on PS4 and XB1. You plug the mouse, keyboard and controller into the device, make a config for it and it's extremely similar to PC gaming. It makes a lot of sense for those of us that grew up on fast paced PC FPS games like Quake, UT, etc.

Indeed, you don't go from bad to good with these controllers, some because a lot of the bad players just don't think through shooters well, some because their reflexes are poor (me, I'd say I'm above-average because while my reflexes aren't great, I'm smart enough to not do incredibly stupid things in such games).

If you're willing to drop $150 on a controller to be better, I'd hope you have the focus and willingness to spend the time to make use of it. If you're someone who buys this thing for Halo, but won't ever learn to use the paddles or the trigger locks, then you've got a problem of being stupid, haha.

I came here to drink milk and kick ass and I just finished my milk.

Exactly.

The best part of the show is that I watched "The Red Door," where they introduced Richmond. A day or two later, I started my internship, and I work in a server closet. The timing was too good.

Am I the only one here that actually drink Half N Half straight off the bat?

What's a bat? Is that some foreign-language term for the pin-shaped (for lack of a better comparison) containers such things are put in?

It never ceases to amaze me how many people respond to this guys blatantly obvious troll bait. He has not once created a thread of any legitimate substance. It's all delusional ramblings and nonsensical gripes about insignificant nothingness.

I always get a good laugh from his threads, yet when I'm done reading I feel I've reduced my IQ to that of a potato.

It not a troll bait and I'm not a troll. Just an genuine honest guy who say whatever is on his mind. But what your saying is your opinion. I think my thread are legitimate and they have substance and they are significant for me or else I would not make them. If I was a troll, what am I always using the same username for every gaming site? If I'm a troll, wouldn't I want multiple identities? People who know me in real life know I'm a very passionate person and I don't pretend to be someone I'm not when I'm online either.

Your last sentence was funny though ^_^ but leave that poor potato alone! You can make so much with potato which you can't even say for other food. Hash brown, fries, potato chip, baked potato, etc...

How so? I think i explain myself fairly clearly.

you asked for it.

i'm also quite good at games; shooters in particular. i am a strong team player, good at reading the game, and i'm fast and reasonably accurate; i also take the game seriously. these factors together, make me win more often than not.

how did i get like this? by practicing, reading, playing different games, speaking to better players, and developing my mindset.

through these i found several elements that were limiting my possibilities. i learned how to set up my sensitivity; how to reduce the pre-rendered framerates, how to calibrate my monitor, how to edit ini files. i learned about network latency, hitboxes, ping. i learned about reflexes, muscle memory, posture. i learned how to prefire, how to dodge, how to spot.

all these thinsg i have learned together, make up the sum of my skill. just like a professional athlete learns about form, practices, eats properly, sleeps regularly, and so on.

that is all that skill is. there is nothing, if not the above, which gets better when you play.

if you put two players in a new game, with two identical controllers, you are cutting out 90% of whatever skill is. at that point the only two factors which control who wins are 1) boredom and 2) luck.

and that is one point of my argument.

the second is,

a gaming mouse and a gaming keyboard don't do anything for you. at most, they let you do 100% of what you want to do but unless you have some sort of macro or other hack built into them, they do nothing. a mouse is considered "perfect" if it does EXACTLY what your hand does.

and you want to tell me that a control which does NOT do what your hand does, is better?

this is why people OF SKILL who play PC games have such a low opinion of console gamers. because they know nothing of the possibilities OF SKILL which they could have using a superior control, such as a mouse and keyboard; if they did, they would not lower themselves to using a controller, but they do because skill is something they don't care about nor understand.

here is a tip, genius. if you don't want to play vs inferior, controller wielding players, then don't. whining that controller players are bad doesn't absolve you from being a console player yourself. get a pc and go play counterstrike, then tell me about skill.

or keep doing what you do, gimp yourself by using a controller, then tell yourself you are doing the "skillfull" thing by staying in the kiddie pool and playing vs 12yo kids.

Woah there, appreciated the long reply but there not a thing you just wrote that I don't agree with you on. I also think you misunderstood me.

I don't know where you get the fact that I completely disagree with your first argument at all? I never did, don't think I ever said any of the above that made you think of that.

As for your second argument, it the whole reason I'm leaving PC because mouse and keyboard is just too easy to use. If I have such low opinion of console players, why am I switching from 12 years of PC gaming to console gaming? I think your argument is more in like with how most PC gamer think of console gamer, and the thing they think the most is how console gamers are "pleasant" because they don't know how to build a gaming pc, but otherwise you know I don't know many that think controller are lame.

Also you misunderstood me about the controller part. I want to use a controller vs other exact player with the same controller, not those with Elite controller because my argument with Elite controller is the same argument you have with mouse and keyboard and how it makes thing easier for you. So I don't know if you know this but you are saying exactly what I'm saying mate :D.

I also played CS for 10 years as well.... and highly skill. I am naturally good at shooter game whether it controller or PC. I can adapt to any situation.

As for your last sentence, I don't exactly what your saying?
