So I'm sittin in the Parking lot at the local Farmer Jack, with my turn signal on, waiting to pull into a parking spot.

All of a Sudden BAAAAAAAAAM, someone rear ends me, not too hard, but hard enough to dent my rear door.

My poor 98 Bright Red Grand Prix

Some guy backed into me in the Circuit City parking lot while I was backing out of my spot. They tried to blame me but it was clearly their fault. Luckily I had no damage and they had a ton of damage. I hate stupid drivers.

Yah, i filed a police report, cuz i'm 16 and didn't want anything to prevent me from getting my unrestricted liscence at 17

yeah, but they're on the sides of the car, not the back. Did you get hit in the back? One of the quarter panels? Or one of the rear doors?

You don't have a door on the back of your Grand Prix unless it's a 5-door or a 3-door in which case you have a hatch-back. And, to my knowledge, the hatch-back model of the Grand Prix doesn't exist...

That sucks.. I drive rather defensively to avoid collision at any cost. There is not much you can do about getting rear-ended by inattentive or stupid drivers since its beyond your control. I suppose you could get a 80ton Freightliner though. Even the baddest biggest SUV is no contest to smashing into the tailgate of an 80ton semi.
