Ok so I have a buddy who has always asks me for computer help, what to buy, how to put things together, wanted me to help him build a computer, what goes where etc. No big deal really but he is the kind of guy that if HE does something or gets something new it's THE thing.

Well computers have always intimidated to a him to a certain degree until he got his A+ about a week ago. Now HE is THE computer tech for anyones needs. Now apparently he does not need my help any longer...well not quite.

It seems he got the itch to replace the HSF on his CPU an thought he could do it himself with no help or advice...so he just called me cryb!tching because when he pulled the HSF off, the CPU came out of the socket (he pulled straight up instead of giving it a little twist to free it from the processor) and it bent the pins on the CPU....LOL...I would feel for the guy if he wan't such an a$$hole sometimes.

cliffs:

1-buddy always asks for computer help
2-gets A+ now he is a know it all
3- incorrectly removed the HSF and bent the pins on his CPU

Eh, I think I might seem like a know-it-all sometimes, but when I answer questions, I'm usually sure about it.

Just tell him to put the processor in a vice, wrench it down really tight, and then un-bend the pins. :)
