Whats the most calls you have ever had in que?
Mine was only 120 or so back in the day in MSN Dial Up when the Authentication Server would go down, which happened quite often, but didnt generally last long.

Back when I first got hired, and well before my boss clamped down on our tech support policy, I could answer upwards of 20-30 calls a day when school started (I work for a company that makes educational software). Nowadays, I don't answer the phone as much because our policy is if you're not registered, you're not getting support.

Edit: I also don't get nearly as much email either, and my responsibilities have gradually shifted more towards the website design side.

around 100 or so. When the co. I work for has webcasts, all the tools call in because they forget how to connect.

I used to do tech supt. for online banking. We supported about 120 credit unions. When the whole system would go down it was normal for us to have 150-200 calls in queue.

That's when we would put the automated "the system is down" message on and not answer the phones until it came back up. :D
