Have a story here of some kids breaking into cars. They caught them when one of them left their cell phone in one of the cars they broke into, and all the text messages, going into great detail about the other thefts, led police to the other kids involved and pretty much sealed up the case. Was talking with a friend last night and there was a house being built close to them that some kids went in and vandalized, tearing stuff up, took a bunch of stuff and spray painted all over the place. Being so proud of their work they decided it would be a good idea to sign it in spray paint by painting their names. Yes people are that stupid.

Most epic case of "wow people are THIS STUPID?" was actually a case of the victim of a crime being dumb, not the perpetrator (although the perpetrators were incredibly stupid as well).

My friend's youngest brother is a fuck-up. He's hanging out with his friend, who regularly breaks into a neighbor's house and steals money and vandalizes stuff. Key word: FREQUENTLY. Yes, he does this all the time. No, the neighbors do not start locking their doors after it happens. They even knew who was doing it, and they still wouldn't lock their doors! Eventually, they call the police and they catch the two of them in the act.

Still though, they do live way out in the country so I can understand not locking your doors at first, but continuing to not lock them even when you know someone is regularly targeting you? How dumb can you be?

In my psychology program one of the instructors would frequently remind us that IQ is a normal distribution and we should endeavor to shepherd the less endowed.

What is "%^(%"?

Insert whatever term for dumbass you choose to.

I can see now that %^(% might look like it means something, but it's just cartoon swearing.

To me the point isn't that is was only booze.

It's that he stopped to fill out a raffle ticket while he had a bottle of whiskey in his pants, and then proceeded to grab two more on his way out.

While the clerk was watching.

Oh well. Maybe he secretly wanted to get caught.

I've seen one in the past where someone tried to rob a liquor store, and the clerk asked to see an ID just to make sure they were over 21. Dumbass handed it over, so she knew exactly who it was. Had him on tape giving the clerk his ID, lol.

For years I've been resisting this sort of thing. When I catch glimpses of stupid folks on reality shows I always force myself to think "It's all an act".

Holy s%^&. Maybe it's not.

Maybe a large percentage of Americans really are #$^*ing stupid.

So I went to Slinger High School if someone could track down the name of this kid I probably know either him or his family.
