I don't get it. If you keep up with them throughout the turn, there's no way they would attempt to swing wide. They'd see you there right next to them. In other words, don't fall back into their blind spot. Is it too hard for your little four banger to keep up with their big ole' Buick V8 or what? 😕

You're assuming most people are aware of their surroundings when they're driving, which in a lot of cases sadly isn't true. When you've seen people driving down the wrong side of the road at night with their headlights off, in the fast lane, straight towards a semi-truck, and they don't immediately turn around/pull over because they're old and half-senile, you know what people are capable of. Simply put, a lot of people don't have the awareness/skill level neccessary to drive a car safely...

What I hate worse is when you are about to turn and some mother fvcking @sshole b!tch c0cksucking turdburgler pulls up real fast so you are looking at the middle of their car and you miss your turn. I feel like chasing them down, forcing their car off the road, slicing their throat and ripping their heart out of their chest so I can eat it whenever that happens.

This topic is about wide left turn, turnips. Stay ahead of them through the turn and they won't get you, and that is THAT!

I was in the outer lane of a 2 lane left turn and the moron in the inner lane plowed into my door. When the cop showed up and assessed the situation, he was going to give *me* a ticket for an improper turn. I had to point out the arrows on the road to show that there were two turning lanes and that the moron in the inner lane turned wide into my lane. The idiot cop tore up the ticket and wrote a new one for the other driver.

Now, I drive defensively -- always anticipating some moron.

There is this turn on Washington street by me that has the dual turn lanes. After you turn left, about a 1/4 mile down the road is the turn onto I-95 south. The left lane of the dual turn takes you to the lane that turns onto 95 and the other goes straight or you can make a right.

Everytime I get in the right lane for the dual left turn, I get some moron who doesn't want to get into the 95 lane and comes right at me. They see the lowes on the right and just think I want to go there and don't realize its a dual turn. The intersection is clearly marked and there are the lines on the ground. It just happened again 20 minutes ago on the way back from staples. Stupid people, I atleast got to lean on my horn for a good couple of seconds.

My point was that even if I'm directly next to someone and not in their blind spot as you said, that doesn't neccessarily mean they have the capacity/awareness to realize I'm there. And it's not always feasible to just gun it to move ahead of them, maybe they'll be a car ahead of me that I don't want to rear-end? Either way, the topic is these people suck, not that they're not avoidable. In 99.99% of situations it's easy to stay out of their way, but that doesn't mean they're not stupid/aggravating.
