Like when you have two left turn lanes, and too often I'm in the outside left turn lane and the guy on the inside lane decides that he wants to turn wide, which naturally spills over into my lane in the middle of the turn.

Does this only happen to me or is this pretty common?

yes it does. more schooling is needed. it would cut accidents by a large margin.

At the current rate of SUV growth, it won't be too long before we effectively have half as many lanes as we do now. The H2 will be a compact SUV, and reletively fuel efficient.

then you should stay in the outside lane so you have a bigger turn radius.

most turns here are single lane, not multi-lane.

i couldn't agree more... i'd love to drive somewhere where i could actually trust the person driving next to me.

What I hate worse is when you are about to turn and some mother fvcking @sshole b!tch c0cksucking turdburgler pulls up real fast so you are looking at the middle of their car and you miss your turn. I feel like chasing them down, forcing their car off the road, slicing their throat and ripping their heart out of their chest so I can eat it whenever that happens.

Changing lanes in an intersection is illegal in most states, although it's not usually enforced unless there is an accident.

If you drive in California, the turn lanes around here have lines and/or markers that go throughout the intersection so that dummies can make the turn properly. Seems to help.

I was on the inside lane of a 2-lane left-turn intersection and a moron in a full-size van cut the corner short and sideswiped my car. His insurance covered everything (he kindly admitted to being at fault...which was pretty obvious).

I see that a lot..morons will swirve out into middle lane and then proceed to make a left turn or a u turn. I'll bet they saw it on TV and think it's the thing to do. Nice opportunity for a cop to hit em with a mover and a point on their license for reckless operation. Expensive..and then the insurance company has an excuse to raise their rates.

Happens quite a bit. If youre a driving a shitty car and plan on getting a new one anyways might as well let them hit you. :p

More schooling and such is needed, but it''ll never happen. It will bring up the topics of hating the poor, which are of course usually minorities. So learn to live with it.

I have to slam my brakes,, or cut to the other lane or parking space, at least once a week because stupid Donkies can't turn on their own lane or don't look when they cut lanes. I live in San Francisco so I have to dodge them..cause I don't want them to hit my car,, But one of these days, I'll get a big SUV and will not dodge no more....: :)

Too much work for the cop. Much easier for them to sit on the side of a long straight road and catch someone doing 5mph over the speed limit.

OMG, here in FL the old people are HORRIBLE with this. They'll get in the leftmost left-turn lane, then of course turn way wide because they want to make the first right into a parking lot after the turn. "Maybe you should've thought about the fact that you needed to be in the right lane before you get in the left left-turn lane!!" Man, I want to kill these people! (of course there's like 1000 other gripes I have about the old-folks driving skills down here, they really need to retest people at a certain age...)
