Ok, Ive got about 800 to spend. Now, I dont want to spend 800, but I suppose if the proper deal came around....
I took a look around and i can drive to tiger direct or circuit city, as they are located somewhat near my house.

This one is made by konka.. Ive never heard of it but maybe some of you have. The resolution is 1366x768 which seems good. is it? Hooking it up to my computer has passed through my mind before

This is a 42 inch plasma by vizio... again, never heard of them before. it has a resolution of 1024x768. Ive heard lcd is better than plasma, but is it that much better so that i should give up 10 inches? Also, I want widescreen but it doesnt look very wide to me.

This is an olevia 32" lcd tv. Ive heard of the brand, and everything ive heard sounds like the quality is good and they just offer cheaper prices. Again, 1366x768 resolution.

And this one comes from tvauthority.com... never heard fo them before. Anyone had any good or bad dealings with them? Its a 42" plasma by sylvania. $705. Thing is the resolution is 852x480. Thats just for the vga input from like a computer though right?

Any input from someone who knows what they are talking about would be great. Thanks!

plasma is a fairly new technology, but now that LCD's are available in these big sizes, you can now go with something thats been tried and true. plasmas are known to burn out. not like in two months, but i work at a home theater store and we get a lot of complaints about plasmas

I got an Olevia 332H for $573 and it is great. However I like my dad's 37" Vizio a little better though, but he spent $1000 on his.

$500 for a olevia 232v here and can't be happier with its picture or decent speakers.
