If you don't WANT to be blessed for a sneeze, why would you thank someone for doing it? I don't say bless you or gesundheit when somebody sneezes. It's a sneeze, nothing special other than it interrupts the conversation, I'd rather get back to that sooner than wait for the back and forth of bless you thank you. If someone feels the need to bless me, that's their own problem. And as was mentioned, they're probably not doing it because they actually think it means anything or because they want to help, they're saying it because it's been beaten into them that they need to say it.

Think for yourselves! Curse the next person that sneezes for trying to pass their germs to you! :)

Why do you feel the need to say "bless you" when someone sneeze? If you truely believe in helping their souls when you said "bless you", are you doing it with the expectation of a reward or something?

i dont expect anyone to say 'bless you' to me when i sneeze. But if someone does id say thanks just out of habit.

Theres many other things relating to manners that are much worse than not saying thanks after some says bless you. Like pissing on someones toliet seat is bad and not cleaning it up is worse and not saying I'm sorry to the person after you is just evil!
