My buddy and I just talked about this at work. We'd like to come up with a list of people that became famous again simply because of the internet humor that spreads like teh herp at a public orgy in Chile.

So far we have:

2. Rick Astley

I don't know. I might need to have a more broad of an outlook on this list I guess. I'm trying to imagine people that have one specific event tied directly to the internet. Hasselhoff might be good, but I think Paris' video was popular enough off the internet.

Same with the Paris vid man. It wasn't really an internet item that made them popular. It was just ripped and we all downloaded it
