No, people do suck, some a LOT more than others. I started a job at a coffeshop during the 3rd shift. I really don't have to work that hard, but I'm actually doing everything I can in my shift to not screw everyone else over in the long-run.
Still, this stupid lady that works with me in the morning complains to me about everything that I do, and constantly critiques my work, which makes me mad as hell. This morning she told me I missed the bank by $100, when she was off and didn't bother to recount...or simply compare it to my tabulation which was right beside her, that states 26 $5 bills to her 6. And then she reminds me to stock 3 diff things in our coolers, which I remind her we're completely out of. She says no, then checks...and oh, she's wrong again. I couldn't help but smile that time. God, it's like she's so quick to judge me for being wrong, and she didn't even apologize!
She never compliments me for anything that I've done well, either.
Oh well, 2 more weeks there and I'm gone.
It's funny, I always felt as I grew up, I'd naturally become less cynical and have a better understanding of people. Yet again, I'm happy to have proven myself wrong.
