Anyone from Houston try Burns BBQ?

I saw it on the food network........ supposed to be the best in Texas.

What is your opinion? How is the neighbourhood that it's in (Acres I think they said).

I've been to several bbq places in Houston and I actually prefer to the one across a Fiesta grocery store near the dome. Very popular, always busy. Forgot the name coz that was 6 years ago.

Now that was some fine bbq. And they have variety to boot, not just beef briskets.

never been there, never heard of it, and it isn't a very good neighborhood.

it didn't make texas monthly's list of the best bbq in the state. thelma's did. goode company did. county line did.

and the best bbq in the state is either smitty's market or kreuz market in lockhart.

Some of the best BBQ I have ever had was at a little shack of a place called Ryan's in Webster.

Best Sausage will always be from Southside Market in Elgin, TX. But that isn't anywhere near Houston.
