people in my Western Civ Honors class suck at geography

Perhaps, even though their geography skills are minimal, they excel in English grammar and you could use one another's strengths to bolster up your weaknesses.

Question - if the prof was after European countries, why was anyone concerned with North Africa?

I asked him some more questions, trying to start up a conversation, but he kept acting weird."

yes, i have decided that as soon as it stops turning a profit, i am out and to mississippi college i go.

Yeah I wasn't trying to knock community college as a whole - they're a great way to get the basic classes out of the way for next to nothing. But some of the people who have no aspirations beyond community college leave a bit to be desired in the area of intelligence.
