people can't add me to msn when I use pidgen

I use pidgen for msn as I was getting sick of microsoft's bloated msn client with daily updates to add more bloat. When it hit 600MB of ram per conversation, I realized it was time to dump it. There is no reason a IM client should use that much ram.

Anyway I have someone trying to add me but for some reason I'm not getting the popup to accept. I've had this happen several times. Anyone use this client and have run into this issue?
