Do anyone know where to get those square pizzas that were served in grade school? I used to love those things as a kid.

I don't know exactly where in the country they were served but I know in the south. Everyone had them for lunch.

They still serve them in elementary cafeterias today. My girlfriend is a Kindergarten teacher, I will have to ask if she knows where they get them.

I am talking about the small square pizzas that every school around here served. When I got into middle school they did away with them in favor of normal pizza.

OMG that is awesome. I know my district started going with some nasty premade pizza when I got to middle school. I had no idea schools still served them.

The reason I asked is because I was in BJ warehouse club last week and found some pizzas that look like them. I got them home and they are good but not the same pizza.

I loved those pizzas!! 😀😀

I don't know where to find them though. Why don't you go ask the principal, of a school that you know has them, where they purchase them?

I have since moved pretty far from home after college 🙂

Ameesh,

They are not french bread pizza, I used to eat stoffers french bread pizza as a kid also. They are completely different than what the school serve.

Well, that would make it hard to go then!! 🙂

Hmmmm... I don't have any other suggestions. I doubt you'd want to call around the local schools and ask, "Hey, do you serve those little square pizzas?". 😀

I am 100% sure that the square pizza was distributed via SYSCO Foods Inc. They had branches all over the US, still do, and are large distributers of school food and products.

I haven't had a little ceasars pizza in a loooooong time.

Speaking of pizza, is San Fransisco Sourdough Pizza still around?
