i went up to berkeley the other day to visit my gf, and it was my first time going there, so i got lost while i was there, and got very frustrated while trying to find my way around. i was looking at my map and the street signs, and didnt notice that the light had turned red. so i accidently ran it . got a couple loud honks, and did the "apology wave". then on top of that a tree was covering a stop sign, so i ran a stop sign. (no cars or people were around)

but hey! im a good driver, this was the first time i accidently ran a red light. so i was just wondering if there are alot of cameras around the streets of berkeley that may have got my plate number. do you think i'll get a ticket in the mail?

the whole bay area city street system is backwards as hell

i doubt youll get a ticket in the mail unless it was a major intersection.

it wasnt a very major intersection.
it was a semi residential area. the road i was on was the road that was right between the dorms and all the frat/sorority houses.

pretty sure there are no cameras there, I wouldn't worry about it.

then i dont think you have anything to worry about. i actually have a friend who lives in one of the apartment buildings right across the street from berkeley

Traffic laws practically don't exist in this city. If I can jaywalk right in front of a cop, you can run red lights in residential areas. Just don't piss off the hobos.

Not really, they only have cameras on san pablo and below (basically near the highways), I haven't noticed cameras near the downtown area or residential area.
