People are immune to the horn

Hypothesis: Just as in nature organisms adapt and become immune to environmental negative effects.

Humans are becomming more and more resillient to the overall affect that a car horn should cause. It seems that instead of the intended effect(hey dumbass you are doing something wrong or not paying attention), It agitates the subject into a rage which results in them honking back, swerving to agitate you, arms whaling, or nothing at all meaning they don't give a rats ass that their driving sucks.

A car horn is there to alert other road users that you are there. Not for revenge.

Whenever I honk my horn it discharges a supersonic wave that destroys the car in front of me.

You got that right. If it was for revenge it would blow sh|t up instead of making a roadrunner meep noise.

I want a large truck horn. Since my car has two buttons, I figured I'd wire up the factory horn to one button, and a truck horn to the other. THen, when somebody ignores/honks back in rage, I hit the other button. 😉
