Today was a pretty miserable day. The temp isn't all that bad, but the humidity is a killer. And my A/C is on the fritz. Repair guy will be out tomorrow. I'm late for work because I couldn't sleep in a house where the air is heavy and won't move.
The highlight of my day was expecting UPS to deliver my new case (an Enlight 7237) so I could have fun with that.
While I'm at work, my family is home. Doors open, windows open, sister's van in the driveway. You can obviously tell that there's someone home. The driver stops by at about 5 pm, carries the box to the back door, drops it off, and drives away.
Why didn't he knock on the freakin' door? Is he scared of me? What? When I ordered the parts for my major computer build last year, I was always at the door to greet my driver. He even joked that he saw me more than he saw his own family.
Ever since then, though, whenever UPS delivers a package, it just gets left at the side door. These have been some pretty expensive orders too. And there has always been someone home. A few of the packages even required a signature!
Why do they do this?
