According to Intel 'marketing' specs, the Goldmont, Goldmont+ supports a MAX 8GB SYSTEM DRAM (LPDDR4x or SODIMM). Even the product DATASHEET (the 2 volume publication that is like 700 pages), says the DRAM limit is 8GB. Lies, all lies!

Of course it would be dependent on the BIOS/firmware having the enabling meminit and processor microcode, which some IHV or PC makers may not implement for their product. But Dell seems to and at least a couple reports for HP systems, too.
