i posted b4 about overclocking my p2 350mhz. With the replies seeming a little then encouraging i was forced to think hard, and then it hit me how stupid i am. The clock lock wasn't implemented properly, so with an fsb @66mhz the cpu accepts higher multipliers, allowing for greater speed then 350mhz. So, if I use 'Tom's B21 pin trick' (it stops the cpu from setting an fsb), in theory, i should be able to set a higher clock multiplier right?
or am I wrong?
and would it be worth dropping the fsb for extra cpu speed?
Thanks
