1. When is the 90nm pentium m going to be released?
2. what fsb do the pentium M's run at and what is the multiplier? And what happens when you put a pentium M in a regular motherboard..., let's say a 875 chipset board. I thought I read that the p-m defaults at 12x multiplier and can handle rather high bus speeds. so would you effectively get a 12 x 200 = 2400 mhz ?
3. Are the pentium M's set with multipliers at production or are they set with the bios?

thanks in advance and I'm sorry because im sure all these topics have been covered before.

I don't actually know about the Pentium-M specifically, but every other proc that Intel makes has the multiplier set at the factory, so it would be a good guess that the M would be the same.

Pentium M's use 100 mhz QPB or 400 mhz in intel world. multi's can be figured from that by dividing the speed by 100 eg 1700mhz=17x

As far as I know, pentium m's are not socket compatible with any aftermarket motherboard.
