Pentium M pinmod question.

Hi, I'm looking into getting a 745 (1.8ghz) cpu for my 9300 laptop. I have a question, what are the chances it will pinmod without any problems? If I'm not mistaken it will pinmod to 2.4ghz.

So if you've done this before please let me know how it went, and if there's anything I need to know. I can do a 1.7ghz pinmod too but 2.4ghz would be nice 🙂

From my experience:

1.6 to 2.13 - 90%
1.7 to 2.26 - 60%
1.8 to 2.4 - 5%

I have never tried on the 1.6, but I did buy 4 1.7's and 3 1.8's.

The chance of finding a 1.8 that will do 2.4 without a vCore pin mod are very slim.

But I will tell you that a 1.8 at 2.4 is one fast processor.

IMHO
