Pentium M on a socket 478

Asus has a converter in the works that will alow you to run a PENTIUM M on any socket 478 motherboard. Finaly we can have Dothan on a Dual Chanel 478 Chipset!

Very nice. I use this chip in my laptop.
If I ever build an Intel Desktop I would use this converter and Chip combo.

Would be a fun toy if it was cheap and easy to get ahold of.

I'm willing to bet you'll see none of these in the States, and they're probably be $30 at least overseas.

Yeah, but if they had designed Pentium M for the Desktop It would probably Kick Plenty of A$$. Maybe alow for another 15-20 watts of power usage and this chip would eat amd for lunch.
