CPU-Z is showing that my 1.4ghz Penitum M can go from 14mhz (1mhz fsb) up to 1.4ghz (100mhz fsb). The multiplier changes too sometimes. Its pretty cool, my laptop is plenty fast and the battery life is great. I have a thinkpad X31 btw (think dell 300M but better). Are the reading accurate?

I think when you do something it automatically throttles up, so it's seamless.

No idea. I thought the Pentium-M only got down to 650mhz.

How is a X31? I guess it is pretty much the same as a T40, so I am specifically asking about the screen. How does xga look on 12"?
