I have one system with a Pentium III Coppermine, stepping is reported as D0 with SiSoft Sandra. Has anyone had any luck overclocking with this stepping? Also I was wondering if it is worth grabbing a cheap motherboard just to overclock it (I have a Dell proprietary)?

That's probably the best stepping for overclocking a coppermine. although you won't get far... like these unlocked Athlons... it's still a lot better than the cco stepping which sucked ass. I couldn't get anymore than 1100-1150 out of a 1GHz P3. Some people here have 1GHz P3 100MHz FSB cdo stepping running @ 1200... the lucky ones... maybe 1 out of 5 p3s... (someone had it can't remember who)... got it to a perfect 1.33. Sigh.
