Hey, I just got a new system and I had it up last night downloading drivers and stuff and this morning I saw that it had multiple BSOD's.

Specs:
Pentium III 700 SL3XX o/c 933 1.75V
GOLDEN ORB HSF
ASUS CUV4X MBD
128MB Generic PC133 CAS3
ASUS V7100 GEFORCE2 MX
30GB MAXTOR 7200RPM
SB LIVE VALUE

VIA 4-in-1 drivers installed, but not the new Liveware drivers for the SB LIVE...could this be the problem?

Runs Soldier of Fortune (comes with the mx) stable for hours. Temperature 24-28 idle, 38-42 in games (ASUS Probe). Could heat be an issue? Side panels off, no additional case fans. Not sure if GORB has thermal grease or not since system was built by my store. Getting Prime95 to further test stability.

Do you guys think it's a heat problem or do I just need to bump up the voltage a little bit more?

Probably your CPU can't run at 933MHz ;) I mean, the chip is not good enough to run at 933MHz.

If you dont have the most recent soundblaster live drivers that could definately be it. My 700e takes 1.85v to be stable at 1002 MHZ but I wouldn't go higher than 1.85v.

I agree with trying new drivers for the SB live. The old drivers don't seem to like the CM P3s. Not only the drivers but the liveware software also. Don't bother putting in the original software just download the new drivers and live ware software. My friend could not figure out why his new chip was giving him the BSOD all of the time. Even when not overclocked. We finally put in the new drivers and software for the SB live and has been working great ever since.
