pentium II mmx upgrade

i was wondering is there away to get a celeron to run on a mmx board. can i use a fcpga converter card and put a celeron on there?

Well, your Abit motherboard happens to be the same situation, a chip on a board not designed for it. But it works, doesn't it? Works for me, too. I see no reason for it not to work. Use a slotket. Better yet, put that C2/566 on it to test it.
