pentium dual core (t2060/t2080) vs core duo (t2050)

Performance wise, anyone know the major difference between the two? I think the only techical difference between t2060 and t2050 is that t2050 has 2mb L2 cache while t2060 has 1mb. 6 months ago, many entry level latops from toshiba were using t2050. today, they're using the t2060. seems like u're getting less performance.
